Seul bémol les horaires d’ouverture de la réception ne permettant pas d’être accueilli quelle que soit votre heure arrivée (ex : nous sommes arrivés entre 13 et 14h, et c’était fermé). Personne de l’accueil très serviable. »

« We were given an unexpected room upgrade from one triple to two ocean view rooms on arrival. The delicious dinners were offered on the covered patio overlooking the extensive flowering gardens and the ocean before our hosts treated us to an amphibious beach buggy ride at sunset. We finished the day relaxing in the hot tub. Wonderful day. They made it so easy to include everything they offered. Would highly recommend to anyone. »

This hotel is old (they don’t call it “historic” for nothing) and run down (featuring peeling wallpaper, a saggy matress, threadbare carpet and a kitchen that looks like it was built in the 80s). Making things worse, there is literally not a single thing of interest in Kumara (it only exists because it is a stop on the West Coast Wilderness Trail). Unless you’re using this hotel as a way to break your cycle trip, I...

"Emplacement idéal, très calme tout en étant à 500m du petit centre du village. Parfaitement situé pour explorer les sentiers de randonnée du parc. "Les dates de notre séjour ne correspondent pas. Nous y étions du 18 au 20 février puis du 22 au 23 février 2026.Et la photo ci dessus ne correspond pas à la chambre que nous avons eue. Nous avons bcp apprécié Daniel, le gérant de cet hôtel très ancien (un peu vétuste)qui est serviable, à l'écoute et extrêmement gentil. Sinon, l'endroit s'apparente plus à une auberge de jeunesse où on partage douches et WC.Notre chambre "familiale"comportait 2 lits dont un à étage et rien d'autre.C'est la seule qui restait. Il ne faisait pas très chaud dans les douches mais bon...l'eau était bien chaude. On a pu profiter de la cuisine et de la salle à manger communes bien équipées."
