"We enjoyed our stay along the New River Gorge in Meadow Creek. The bungalow was kept simple with furnishings. The beaded ceiling molding for the walls and the ceiling with the massive baseboards are classic for the era it was built. The updated tub/shower and furnishings made it very comfortable. "We stayed here for a couple of nights while traveling from out of state. This home was perfect for us for a family of 7 including a 1 1/2 year old, 3 year old and 2 dogs! It was very clean, big open floor plan which was wonderful. The kitchen had almost any item you may need, as did every part of the home actually. Loved seeing all the linens! "So close to the mountain, which is exactly what we needed for our family snowboard trip. The pictures don’t do the place justice. It was spacious and comfortable. Only downside, closest grocery stores are 20ish minutes away so we survived on Dollar General and it worked out perfectly! Highly recommend you stay and experience all that Winterplace has to offer."
