Poor upkeep of property, many issues throughout our stay, not worth the price paid to stay here
We were highly disappointed in the condition of this home considering the price we paid to stay here. The photos listed were misleading and obviously not current once we saw the property in person. The pool water was murky and there was lots of debris in the bottom. We asked for that to be taken care of and nobody came for 5 more days, even though we kept being told they would take care of it “tomorrow”, over and over. When they finally did come service the pool, something was triggered on the pump that caused the pool to start draining the water out. We notified the manager of the decreasing water level and that something was wrong, and it was not until a day later that anyone came to look into it. By that time the pool had drained to about halfway full and we couldn’t use it for our last 2 days there.
The yard space consisted of overgrown weeds and dead plants and trees, including a tree that had broke and fell over against another tree and was just left like that.
The house itself was poorly cleaned, as well as the outdoor screened in dining area. There were cobwebs and dust and dirt everywhere. Vents looked like they hadn’t been touched in months, lights that didn’t work, broken cabinets, there was something that appeared to be splatters of blood on the comforter in one of the bedrooms so we immediately took it off the bed, Screens were ripped and “repaired” by slapping a piece of tape over it, non-working tv in 1 bedroom and issues with the living room tv, and more
