It truly is a wonderful mountain home. It has a spacious kitchen with lots of windows and everything you need for cooking. The entire house was light and bright. An ancient hemlock tree stands watch just beyond the back deck. The cottage is perfectly situated between Mirror Lake & downtown Highlands. We ride bikes & walked every day. The sound of the creek across the side street provides the perfect white noise to help you settle in to a slower pace. The numerous seating areas inside & out provided us & our teenage daughter with the perfect places to have our own spaces when we needed them. Lindsay was fantastic to deal with. We’re already looking at when we can return to Broadleaf Cottage later this year & into next. ##### Jacquie W.
