My daughter (10yo) and I stayed over Christmas. The house was very well stocked with everything we needed. The house was clean and cozy. I appreciated the holiday touches light decoration and plate for Santa's cookies! The hosts were kind enough to keep the hot tub ready for us. We enjoyed several soaks under the winter stars.The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe and comfortable going for a daily walk in the snow. The bedrooms were very clean with nice beds, linens and plentiful space for the two of us. The batroom was also very clean and having a washer dryer was super convenient! Highly recommend this home for a great stay in Juneau. A camper with two twin beds, a standing shower, a gas range, a refrigerator, and an electric portable heater. The portable heater was adequate for heating at night. The stove burners were lid manually with a lighter. The host came over to lend a lighter. Later I almost burned my fingers for lightning a burner. The instant water heater produced not enough hot water for taking a shower, so we didn't take a shower for the two nights staying here. The refrigerator was out of order. The interior air had a stale smell. The property manager, Adam, is very responsive, and his guidebook gave us itinerary inspo and links to purchase tickets. The view is incredible. We saw bald eagles taking fish to their next, seals, and humpback whales from the home. The kitchen is nicely stocked and the knives are reasonably sharp (I’ve stayed in many properties with useless knives and limited appliances). This unit the porch is not in the front view of water but can see through the trees. Property well stocked with necessities. We were here to surprise family for a graduation so location was awesome for us only 5 min. drive. Downtown about 30 min away. Parking is down a small hill and a few stairs to unit if you have someone who might not be elderly or disabled keep in mind. Can pick up at the top after a few stairs. Beach is about three levels of stairs from unit other than that everything was great and would stay again."
