"The staff was outstanding, pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and we had dinner one night and the steaks were excellent. I was able to extend checkout for an extra hour which was very helpful, as my granddaughter was able to ride the pony again. We participated in multiple activities such as Tomahawk and Archery; the attendants were helpful and provided positive feedback. The pool was chilly, but doable for children. The only disappointing thing that occurred was the adults were unable to ride horses."

"The shower was impressive. I have stayed here a good bit and have seen many upgrades over time. The room was clean. The staff is super friendly. The only suggestion I have is to clean the toilet. It kills the vibe."

"Guess I wasn't prepared for what I was to find while visiting. Perhaps it was because we had all just survived a long, hot Texas summer. However, the tranquility and beauty were healing to the soul. I kept thinking, "how did I not know of this place before". I'm not even sure I want to share it with friends as I never want it to change. Thank you to the family/team whom make this oasis so special. It truly is a site for sore eyes. Peace in the valley does exist."

"I was in the room for less than 10 hours. It was very helpful to find a place to stay as I drove home. I was quite tired, and booked the hotel at the last minute. It is an old school motel, but it met my most basic needs just fine."

"The house is beautiful and clean with plenty of room. The view from the back porch is spectacular. Fishing in the pond is good - well stocked with bass. Very quiet and a great place to get away and relax."
