"Well what can I say our stay was simply lovely. The photos do not capture the magical element of Les Patis. The properties charm was delightful. Tony and Pat are both great hosts and could not do enough for our family to make sure our stay was special. Tony even set up a DVD and TV in the communal room by the pool, for all the children staying in the Gites. Our children loved making friend's and now have pen pals in Hamburg, Dublin, and Wigan. "Great House with a Few Drawbacks.The house is very spacious and well equipped - everything you need is available. The pool ist fantastic and was definitely a highlight. The location is also good: Caen is relatively close, and the beach in Cabourg is easy to reach and highly recommended. However, there are a few things that could be improved: Mosquito nets are highly recommended - during our stay there was a REAL mosquito problem, and we all got badly bitten. "Our party of 8 travelers enjoyed our stay at this home. Philippe is a great host, and the property is lovely. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and modern amenities. We hired a private chef to prepare our dinners, and he found the kitchen fine for his needs, and he was able to access the property while we were gone with no issues. We loved our time at La Villa Escuris and recommend this without hesitation."

"Very disappointed with standard of property. Poor quality linen and towels. Major issues with damp and mould in the smaller gites.Then the list of the items that were not working. There was no wifi all week, smaller gite washing machine not working. Shower fitting held up by cable ties. For the games room we had to buy a connector for the projector. No games machine,juke boxes broken. Swimming pool made the holiday but noone came to check chlorine levels"
