"It was further away from the centre than we thought, our mistake. Imagine a rather rundown motel room desperately in need of an upgrade! It was very bijou but had everything we needed for a short stay: comfortable bed, a kettle and complimentary tea and coffee, a clean bathroom. "Look the hotel is generally lovely & the receptionist really delightful. The room when we first entered was also great and had a wonderfully warm, homely feel to it. But the bathroom was pretty dire in most respects with confusing taps and a shower system that was cheaply put together and simply didn’t work at all well with a separate and really uninviting loo area.
