« Larry and Linda are very knowledgeable in providing tips to the local area. Larry used to be the Mayor of Hermann and councilman at the county level. The upstairs bedroom with onsuite bath was charming, spacious, and comfortable. However, if you are tall or overweight the upstairs is probably not a good choice as the steps are steep but they have other very nice rooms with beautiful screened in terrasse. « The staff was awesome. Very nice people the fire pit was awesome at night and the short walk across the river is awesome. When we arrived I asked the staff where I could get flowers for my wife's birthday. The staff informed me that they would take care of getting flowers for my wife. We came back to our room 2 hours later my wife had a dozen roses and a bottle of wine complimentary. The lady informed me that they love to celibate birthdays and anniversary's. We will defiantly be back »

« Everything was clean and neat. Just as expected. What a nice little house in a quiet rural area. Seems like very close access to the Katy trail. We had three kids and five adults but with all the beds, basement space and foldout couches, it could have easily slept 13. More if you bring an air mattress. This was perfect for our overnight stay for a family wedding. The host was very responsive to all my pestering messages. »

« We stayed in the cottages, which overlooked the Missouri river and railroad tracks. I enjoyed setting on the deck in the evening watching them. The cottage we stayed in met or exceeded our expectations. We will stay there again. One thing we found out is that most of the restaurants in Herman close on Tuesday and Wednesday so we will not be staying in Hermann on those evenings again. « It was so comfortable and uniquely and beautifully decorated! There was so many awesome areas to explore inside and outside of the Grain Bins. Food provided for breakfast was fresh and hot. There was perfectly cooked bacon, scrambled eggs and really moist corn muffins with homemade mango preservers! We were welcomed with fresh, homemade plum bread. « Close to everything downtown. Reasonable price. We were gone most of the time so we just needed a place to sleep. Parking was a slight issue as there were 4 cars crammed into a steep lot with uneven ground. It met our needs and we would like to return. »
