We loved this guesthouse. The amenities were great with a well stocked kitchen and large eating and sitting area. The location worked well for the southern coast and was away from the busy crowds. The hosts were warm and friendly. They offered coffee and fresh made waffles in the morning which was such a treat. We would highly recommend.

Our family of five had a great night at Hestheimar. Even though it was -10C we braved the hot tub and had a wonderful evening. The staff provided us each with bathrobes to use at the hot tub and showed up with wool hats to keep our heads warm - which we definitely needed. The cabins were compact but had everything we needed. Thank you for a memorable stay!

Very nice host lady, nicely equipped kitchen, multiple shared washrooms, and cozy place , very good outdoor setup as well.

Definitely will come back to see the northern lights from Our room again.

Very clean, lots of amenities, and scenic property!

This was the best hotel we stayed at outside of the Reykjavik. The window from our suite looked out on to a horse pen with two friendly Icelandic horses. The staff was very friendly and courteous and they have many pets at the farm including turtles, parrots, and dogs. The room was spacious and had lots of storage and also a handy international electrical adapter!

It's just amazing place to stay just outside Selfoss town. The grocery store is located about 10 min drive in the town. This place also has a hot tub which we used. The host is very welcoming. They also have two type-2 ev chargers at the facility. The charge is around 48 Icelandic Krona per KWH.

The staff was extremely helpful and kind, there are also multiple useful utilities inside to help travellers who come from or are going camping. Everything is kept clean and we had a great time!

Homey, quiet and clean. Great coffee and breakfast.

The property was great, even better than the photos. Very cosy and quaint, with a beautiful view.

The property was clean, quiet, comfortable, and close to a few beautiful waterfalls! There is a shared kitchen space that was clean and very useful to us for breakfast, we brought our own groceries! There is not really any options for dining around this location, so it would be best to bring your own food!

Horses behind the property with a mountain range in the distance. Room was very nice with a new updated bathroom. Hot tub and sauna were nice.

We had a great stay.
