High quality room in a wonderful scenic, rural location. Couldn't ask for better. Check in was easy as our keys were waiting for us in the lobby.

Beautiful place with wet sheets
Beautiful location and lovely guesthouse on a nice farm. We arrived pretty late here around 10 PM and our stay was ruined by by wet sheets for the sofa bed. I msged the property and they did respond by offering to give me directions to where I can go find alternate sheets. Being very exhausted, just wanted to eat dinner and goto bed. Tried to adjust by using the extra comforter as a sheet but when we went to bed past 11, found that was wet as well. Had a horrible night sleep as we tried to shuffle sleeping arrangements. They did offer us free bfast for the inconvinience but wasn't able to make use of it as we had to rush to the airport in the morning. Overall the only place in our almost 2 week trip around Iceland that was not great. In general, it could be great place and maybe our experience was an anomaly but for the price we paid was not at all satisfied with our stay.

Very comfy beds, lovely lounge area. Amazing views. Lots of flies in the summer....cover food at breakfast, net in room to stop them.coming in. Road leading to location....no tarmac the one way, very rough for cars.

We were concerned by some of the reviews but the unit was really impressive. It has a full kitchen with everything you need. The horses were very friendly to interact with too.

Quaint guesthouse on a real Icelandic horse farm. We stayed at the apartment, which had lots of space, full-stocked kitchen (although we could not find silverware!), and bathroom. It was lovely to wake up to horses roaming free outside our window. The breakfast was delicious and appreciated. We'd stay there again as it was convenient on our road trip.

We were blessed to find this gem after an unexpected bad experience elsewhere. The beauty and serenity of the guesthouse’s apartment unit completely got us back on track. We stayed for three nights, and headed out travelling each day. There were many local conveniences (grocery, gas, restaurants, etc) and the well-stocked apartment made us feel right at home the minute we walked in. Being from a rural area in southern Ontario, we appreciated being on a farm in Iceland. Would highly recommend this property, especially for those looking for solitude.

Great place!!
This has been my favorite spot to stay in Iceland! It’s quiet, clean and the view with the horses is amazing. The common area was clean and inviting and breakfast was excellent
