LoneBear Cottage2 Historic Dahlonega & Wineries!

This clean, modern cottage rests in quiet seclusion between historic Dahlonega and Cleveland. Only 12 miles from GA 400, the location is central to everything you’ll want to do and see. It’s located minutes from 10 local wineries, multiple wedding venues and other family activities. Large windows and glass doors provide lots of natural light that brings the outdoors in, all while providing you the latest conveniences and comfort with modern furniture and appliances. Master bedroom contains king size bed and private bathroom. Guest bedroom contains queen size bed and access to full bathroom. Air mattress is provided to accommodate children or two extra guests. Enjoy a fire inside using the gas fireplace or outside at the private fire pit, and we’ll provide the wood! Relax on the back deck with the gas grill or watch wildlife from the comfort of the front porch rocking chairs. Coffee bar and fully equipped kitchen provides all you need if you want to cook. This cottage shares a 5 acre wooded lot with a comparable cottage called LoneBear Cottage #1. Rent one cottage or both for large family gatherings!

Cute cabin in the woods

We enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin. Very clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed for a fun weekend away. We were delighted to find a new winery just down the road. Very convenient location and easy to find.

Quiet and clean with a great layout

We enjoyed our stay in this spotlessly clean, well-designed property. The location is nice and quiet, but still accessible to Dahlonega. We did not have time during this stay to use the grill, fireplace, or firepit, but hope to do so on a future visit.

Lovely cabin

Darling place. Very well equipped. Loved the gas fireplace. The only drawback was the last stretch of road was a little treacherous, but we managed just fine.

Nice get away

Tucked is the quaintest area with wild life and privacy. We loved this cottage. Clean, well kept and stocked. Great communication and instructions. Will definitely rent again.

We have stayed in several places over the years and this is by far the cleanest we have ever stayed in. Kitchen stocked well with plenty of plates, glasses and utensils. We really enjoyed the fire pit and thanks for the wood. Close to several wineries and a distillery

Great Cabin

Highly recommend, great 2 BR/Bath cabin with a peaceful outdoor patio, grill, kitchen. Great location with easy access to numerous winerys Cavendar Creek, Kaya, Frogtown. Owner was very responsive and helped us tremendously when we messed up our booking and she fixed it for us at midnight on our arrival. Could not recommend more.

Fantastic

The cabin was phenomenal. Unbelievably clean, fully equipped kitchen, and beautiful property. Woke up every morning to birds singing and deer grazing out front and out back. We used the fire pit every evening which made the nights perfect. If I’m ever back up this way I will definitely stay here again.

Weekend stay for wedding

This little cottage was perfect! The place was very clean and comfortable. The pictures are very accurate but the house was even better in person! The host gave us everything we needed for a nice weekend. The deck off the back of the house has a spectacular view of a quiet, secluded forest. Close to several wineries and hiking. We will go out of our way to stay there again!

Lone Bear 2 1/25

Home was as neat and clean as ALWAYS!! Kitchen was properly stocked with utensils and even coffee was provided although we did not use it. Four adults stayed here with great comfort and all plan to return. A great place for quiet getaway in a wooded environment.

A proposal I’ll never forget!

I can not say enough good things about this trip and property! First off the communication with the host, Joy, was quick and very helpful. This house was everything we wanted and more! Soooo cozy and had everything you needed. My fiancé actually proposed at sunset on the back porch. We will definitely be coming back to celebrate every year. And the town of Dahlonega was amazing Thank you!!

Clean and Beautiful Stay

We loved staying here! The property was exactly like the listing shows.. even better in person! So clean, (which is one of my biggest concerns ALWAYS when booking), it seemed “new”. It was equipped with all that you would need in the kitchen, and we used the grill on the back deck, looking out to the trees. There was a Nice fire pit… that we sadly didn’t get the chance to use. The views and drives in and out of the area were scenic and wonderful! There are so many wineries close by! We visited 3! Overall… would highly suggest this property to anyone seeking a peaceful setting.

disappointed in view, but I guess it was as indicated on line.

all very good. we did expect a better view of mountains, but we did enjoy the cottage. we would like to suggest that grab bars be installed in tubs, tub seemed to be a little high and hard for older people to get in and out without following.
