"We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet...

"This is a perfect little slice of Shenandoah Valley vistas heaven! Gorgeous sunrises start your day with a perfect perch to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee on the front porch. Lovely plays of light lay across the fields as the sun sets with almost as much beauty and color as the sunrise. All the comforts of home with a thoughtfully provisioned kitchen and perfectly appointed bathroom. Great pillows, soft sheets and a just right quilt make for a restful and restorative night’s sleep. Our host was so warm and welcoming and makes you feel right at home. We are already dreaming of our next visit."
