4000 sq ft Lakeside Escape Near Yosemite With Private Dock and Lake Access

"Lovely home, generally reasonably clean, but the kitchen cleanliness could stand improvement. Many dishes had food on them, every pot we used needed scrubbed to remove stuck on food, glasses needed washed, the blender base was covered in various layers of sticky/dried food stuff. The kitchen cabinets above the microwave have a thin film of oil on the surface. Same with the hood over the range. Range top also needed attention.Elsewhere, some of the window blinds had dead flies in the fabric louvers.There's a woodpecker that comes to peck on the house every morning, so don't plan in sleeping in. The foil streamers and ceramic owl are not a deterrent for what seems to be a very determined woodpecker.Lastly, be aware the driveway is very steep."

"Home was easy to find in the dark. I had communicated that we would be arriving late and they left the porch light on for us. It was clean and cozy and a perfect get away for our needs. It is about an hour to Yosemite Valley so be prepared for a bit of a drive however it was worth it. Also the town of Groveland is a charming and very welcoming town every person/merchant we had contact with were kind and helpful. Definitely would stay here again"

"The chalet is clean and comfortable. The gated community is filled with deer and turkeys and very curvy roads . The lake is beautiful."

"Not only was it spotless, the communication with Mike was excellent! The listing was percent accurate, which in my experience is rare! All in all we had a fantastic experience and my only complaint is that my stay was too short. We were in Mariposa to attend my Aunt & Uncle's 50th Anniversary Party. In the future I would love to come back to explore the area and Yosemite. I will be back!"
