Right in town easy walk to 2 restaurants, coffee shop, Dollar General. Host responded very quickly with couple questions we had. Nothing against host but just be aware the parking across the street is very limited, it is not open parking where a truck and trailer can pull in. There’s not really anything to do in the small town of Haysi, but this location is only about 15-20 from Breaks Interstate Park, which has plenty hiking trails & has a good place to eat at the lodge. This place has plenty of privacy for everyone staying with you & very roomy. The inside of cabinets could be cleaned somewhat better, as well as, the kayaks need cleaned. Rita answered any questions I had about checking in, because I did not receive early instructions, & we didn’t receive any instructions for check out.
