About this property

Hatteras Village Private Studio **Southside** 2

Short walk to the beach, local deli, ice cream shop, nail/hair salon, jewelry store, and a convenient sidewalk to take in the whole village. Golf carts are available to rent in the village (message us for information about how to pre-book) and make getting to our local grocery store and fresh seafood restaurants a breeze. Enjoy watching the boats come in with their fresh catch of the day. At the end of the day, enjoy the large yard your beverage of choice and listen to the waves crash on the beach while the sun sets over the sound side.

The studio apartment is accessible with only four steps and has a sleeping area, dining nook, one bathroom, and kitchen area.

Southside 2 is full of art by local legend Glenn Dodenhoff. We hope you’ll feel at home and enjoy our relaxed way of life and southern hospitality.

Cute little studio

This was the perfect little studio. Tucked away behind Kats Deli. Nice open area with grass, bbq grill and picnic table in the back. Would definitely stay again.

A much needed vacation in a quite and safe location

We really enjoyed our stay. The rental unit had what we needed. It is a tight knit family type multi rental complex with kids at play. The chickens were our friends by the last day. We missed seeing the little pond right next to the property. It would be interesting to have an access trail. The birds and deer were a nice surprise. Easy beach access across the street. The bed is comfortable.

This was my first time using anything other than a typical hotel and the property did not disappoint, when we first arrived it had been storming so our parking was a little flooded but we were greeted by the property owner while she was walking her dogs, sue was very nice and we are greatful for her hospitality. We will for sure be staying in this area again and hopefully on of the properties owned by this property owner, my girlfriend and i had an amazing time at hatteras southside.

This was the perfect little spot for a weekend getaway. Not as busy as Nags Head. But, still plenty to do! The beach was a very short walk across the street. It was a cozy room! Wendy was super nice! Cute dogs too!

Dark at night Ants were in kitchen, most common in evening along kitchen counters. Initially property difficult to find. You may be able to see a “pond” from a helicopter but not from your vehicle. Vegetation too tall and thick. (That was one of the landmarks to locate apartment) All in all. Good location and would stay there again.

Okay for a night

Cute little place overall, but not the cleanest. There was leftover food in the fridge, flies everywhere, and towels which i can assume to be dirty left in the bathtub. The tub also drains super slow just fyi. also a little confusing because the listing says two bathrooms but if you scroll further down on the post, it says one (and there is only one).
