"For the price an excellent deal. Not the fanciest place but was very clean. Very quiet and restful sleep. Would stay again."

"This hotel looked new on the inside. Our room was completely renovated. Spacious and the bathroom was big too. Everything is spotless. Bed was super comfy with soft pillows. Indoor pool was nice and clean and the pool towels were absorbent and sized like bath towels. The room towels were great too. The breakfast bar was perfect! Cereal, bagels, fruit, make urself waffles, hot eggs and sausage, muffins, juice tea and coffee. Something for everyone. There’s a bar too which had a good selection of food. I highly recommend this hotel. In a great location too."

The home was clean and well appointed, and Mary Beth is an exceptional host.We spent a day at Prince Gallitzin State Park, known for its expansive landscapes and well-maintained trails, the park provided the perfect backdrop for hiking. We look forward to returning to do some more hiking and fishing at Glendale Lake. We would highly recommend Shady Pines."

"Property was clean. It only needs end and bedroom tables, a mattress and some mirrors to make it really nice. Another bathroom would be good also. Kitchen was very good."
