"景色は抜群に良いところです。ただ、施設の中の掃除が行き届いていなく、オーブンやホットプレートが置いてある棚は埃だらけでした。 施設の解説がネット上であまりなかったので、よく分からず、2人で利用しましたが、どうやら大人数で利用する施設だったようです。スリッパや外履きサンダルが10人分くらい玄関口に置いてあるのを見て気づきました。 もう少しサイトに詳しい情報（冷蔵庫に食材を入れてくれるとか、調味料は何がある、サランラップやホイルはない、菜箸はないので持参を！等）が予約前に分かると良かったと思います。 この宿泊施設は電話で直接オーナーと話せるわけではないので、よく分からないまま行くといった感じで、不安を感じる部分があります。エアビーのようにオーナーと話せると良いと思いました。"

"Everything about our time at Kenji’s place was simply amazing. We stayed for two nights, and we spent our day there hiking around the island. We went all the way to the village by foot, and came back through the mountain via the Tsutsumigaura trail. Careful though, it wasn’t an easy hike! We had walked over 25km by the end of the day, but every step of it was absolutely worth it. We still cannot believe all of the beautiful landmarks we got to see that day. Otherwise, communication with Kenji was seamless. He is fluent in French and English. It was a pleasure getting to meet him and talk with him. The place is clean, well organized, and the view is majestic. I couldn’t recommend it more."

"The breakfast was great. Staff was great. Bath was nice. The room was a little less high quality in terms of finishes than I would expect from a place at this price level. And the dinners were quite disappointing relative to the price level and other meals we had with half board at other ryokans/hotels during our stay in Japan. Under seasoned and just not very excellent. Also disappointed that the dinners were French cuisine focused."

"Very kind and wonderful staff, nice breakfast, very small bathrooms. If you are visiting Japan to see a loved one, be ready to pay extra for them to be able to enter the hotel room as a visitor. If you stay in a room by the fire exit expect a pretty large draft in the winter. You will be forced to leave your room after a day or so of putting up the “do not disturb” sign for them to clean your room. Be sure to keep the heater on when you leave the room otherwise you will feel like stepping into Antarctica when you come back. Overall my stay was very nice "
