If you are looking for a peaceful retreat with fun in the sun this is the place for you. It is on Gumlog Creek just above the Tugaloo River main channel with deep water and open space for boating and skiing. Gather the gang and enjoy swimming, boating, tubing, skiing, and chilling on the dock. Perfect place for getting away from it all and making memories with your family and friends. This home comes complete with a 2 slip boat dock and a large swim platform. Bring your boat or rent one and chill in the sun of this spacious dock. There’s a paved pathway from the home to the dock and plenty of room to park several cars plus ample space for a boat trailer. The three story home features floor to ceiling windows in the living and dining areas overlooking the lake. The spacious family area has plenty of room for the family to gather complete with a 52" flat screen TV. Off the living area is a deck where you can rock your troubles away. The inside dining area has a large 8 person table with a great view of the lake and an additional 6 person table for the kids or kids at heart. The kitchen is fully equipped with a 5 burner stove and double ovens for the person who loves to cook. There’s also a outdoor flat propane grill and a charcoal grill for all your grilling needs. This spacious lake front home easily sleeps 16+ with the master bedroom located on the main floor with a king size bed and a 32" flat screen TV. The master bathroom has a double sink, jetted tub and separate shower. The additional 3 bedrooms are located upstairs. On the left you will find a bedroom with two full size beds and a private bath. On the right are two bedrooms, one has a queen size bed and the other has two full size beds. These two bedrooms share a bathroom. There are additional sleeping spaces in the basement with a twin bed, full bed and a full size futon. Our home is perfect for a large family or group. The fourth bathroom is located on the basement level which works great for the basement guests and lake traffic. In addition, there's a ping pong table and air hockey table for your enjoyment. In the backyard there's a fire pit for chilly nights or making s’mores. This home is in an excellent location being only 4 miles from Interstate 85 and approximately 3 miles from Tugaloo State Park. Our home is approxmately 1/2 mile from Franklin County Boat Ramp and 1 mile from Harbor Light Marina for fueling boats. The marina also has boat and jet ski rentals. The area is convenient to many restaurants including the famous “Gumlog Barbecue and Fish Lodge” and has ample opportunities for shopping and entertainment. The home is approximately 1 hour north of the Atlanta metro area and 30 minutes south of Anderson, SC. There is a Tanger Outlet Mall in Commerce, GA approximately 30 minutes south from the home. Perfect location for UGA (50 min) and Clemson (30 min) football games. All linens are provided, ample supply of towels, toilet tissue and paper towels. The kitchen is stocked with spices, plenty of pots and pans and most any gadget you might need. Full sized washer and dryer with all the laundry essentials. We have a pack-n-play and highchair for the little ones available upon request. You are welcome to bring all the children but pets are not allowed and there are no exceptions as we have grandchildren who are very allergic. This is also a non-smoking home and smoking and vaping are not allowed inside. This home is perfect to gather the family, guy's fishing trip, ladies get away or any large group. Our family came from Belize, Portugal and other areas in Canada and several times they commented how wonderful it was to stay together in the house instead of being in separate accomodations. The only thing to improve would be to have dresser and closet space for guests in the bedrooms in addition to space in the kitchen cabinets for guest use. A screw was sticking out of dock in front of boat area 1 of the children tore their foot on this... needing a lot of attention... When we arrived the neighbors was having a party using the boat docking area stating the owners told them nobody was renting the home and they could use it but they did remove the boats... the Golf carts I know was an added bouns... but they would not charge We had to push them back up the hill 2 times so didnt get to use them on the steep climb up the hill.. The shower curtain in the main bathbroom was mildewed... . dont think we would rent this again.. it was roomy for our family ... and we did enjoy the Lake.... ##### Sheila R.
