"We were in the area for college orientation at Ohio University for our daughter. This property provided our family with peace and comfort after a busy and emotional day to reflect and process. The cabin and grounds are well taken care of and very clean. The layout allows for everyone to enjoy each other’s company without feeling like you are on top of each other. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The location was great and very easy to get to campus. Truly a haven."

We had two other members of the family that were able to rent the second floor. We were able to see both rental units. Clean and what wonderful local art and history!The area was nice and quiet, the home charming. It was exactly what was needed, made us feel at home. We would recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Also check out the MothMan Museum. "

"My wife and I were in the area to speak at a local church. The Lake House was perfect for us to enjoy the tranquil setting. The accommodations were nice… even the coffee was provided. A cup of coffee and the rocking chair on the front porch was a blessed way to start our day. We will definitely keep the Lake House in mind when we are back in Ohio.
