"Pretty much exactly what we had expected - clean, close to the ferry, a Tesco, and plenty of shops and eateries. Very much a spot on 3 star, like a Holiday Inn, Best Western; but in the Heberdies! Happy with our stay and the hotel."

"This home is very modern, very clean and easy to be in. It is a fairly "technical" home, which is not a criticism, just sometimes a challenge for an old brain like mine. But the view was beautiful and the hosts very responsive and helpful. This part of Scotland is so beautiful, and this is a great place to enjoy it."

"The property was great if you want to be out in the countryside. It is extremely quiet and away from everything except a few other houses. When we drove down the road to the house we saw at least 20 rabbits out in the field.If you want groceries to use the kitchen, make sure to plan ahead because it is quite a trip to get to the nearest grocery store (about a 20 minute drive each way along narrow roads).The beds were comfortable and the place is well decorated. The wood burning stove was a nice touch. Wood, fire starters, and matches were all provided."

"The house was very spacious and well-located, with great views and walks from the doorstep. Communications with the host were excellent. There were lots of local books to enjoy and all was very clean. We both wished there was a bath tub, although the shower is large and water pressure very good. The memory foam mattress in the main bedroom is very soft and was a little uncomfortable for us, but this did not majorly detract from a lovely quiet and peaceful stay. It did perhaps seem a little expensive, but we enjoyed our stay and would return."
