This was such a fun place to stay at! There was plenty of space in the house and parking was easy. We enjoyed the cows/sheep. Everyone near the property and Lorraine was super sweet
This home was cozy and clean. It was a perfect location to explore isle of skye. The owner was easy to communicate with and very kind. Our kids especially loved the bunnies all over the place and the friendly cows. The home is simple and had everything we needed. Thank you!!
This was the best place to stay—a beautiful house, cozy bedrooms, lovely downstairs sitting area with fireplace and dining room, lovely kitchen with everything we needed. I loved the one small bedroom upstairs whose window looks out over the beautiful landscape outside. Lorraine made us feel most welcome. It’s a bit of a drive out to reach the house, but so very worth it. We even had a rainbow and a full harvest moon while we were there.
Stay was wonderful. Accommodations were fantastic. Host Lorraine was terrific and made us feel at home. We loved meeting Alan the Crofter and his 4-legged border collie family.
Very clean, comfortable, authentic croft house in a remote location on the beautiful Isle of Skye. Great place to stay for an extended stay in Skye. We were there for only 2 nights and it wasn’t enough to really explore the island. The owner/host is amazing! She made sure everything we needed was readily available and in good order before we got there.

This home was in a beautiful setting. It was private and just as described. We loved it and would highly recommend it. It was very clean and cozy.
A great place to getaway and just enjoy the solitude. We had a cozy fire in the comfort of this beautiful Croft house. Beds were comfy and kitchen was well equipped. It does not disappoint!
The house had everything we needed for our stay. It's off the beaten path but we loved the quiet atmosphere. My family and I would definitely stay again
Wonderful house at the North end of Skye. Peaceful with beautiful views. Driving distance to Duntulm Castle ruins and the Musuem. Host was super responsive. I would recommend for a relaxing stay.

A cozy and beautiful cottage, the host is very kind and the place around stunning.
The neighbours are rabbits and sheeps, so this is a very quiet place, but you can go everywhere on the island so this is a perfect spot to stay.
Our stay here was simply wonderful. The home is beautiful and in an amazing setting. It was a great base for us to get out and explore the beauty of Skye as a family. Highly, highly recommend this property if you are looking for a getaway to visit the Isle of Skye!
This was our first time in Scotland and we learned really quick how different the roads are. Thanks to being able to stay in this location we were able to do so all the hikes we planned to do.The house is super spacious, a rarely in the UK. The surroundings are so peaceful and the view is magnificent. If you are a lover of nature, you will not be disappointed.
Lorraine’s cottage was the most amazing rental we have ever had. The cottage was charming and authentic, very clean, spacious, well appointed and located in a stunning valley with incredible views, and close to many Skye attractions. The cottage is located next to a sheep farm with literally hundreds of sheep - such an amazing environment especially for the kids. Lorraine was an incredible host, so kind and thoughtful, and wonderful with her recommendations of attractions and restaurants/cafe. My family and I did not want to leave!
We made a very last minute booking and this was one of the only properties still available, it’s a little remote, but it was a lovely retreat at the end of the day. Very quiet and cozy and the views are incredible. I would definitely stay here again.
