"This is my new favorite place- right down from Ellen's Shell station that has the best pizza in town. :). "Perfect for families! The puttputt and playground were large and fun and there were comfortable picnic tables for eating outside, enjoying the weather and the stunning view. The rooms were VERY large! We had a double queen and while you could tell the hotel is undergoing renovations, it was nice, quiet and comfortable. The updates that were going on lead me to believe that as nice as it is right now, next year will be even better."

"We enjoyed our stay immensely. The chalet was perfectly appointed with everything we needed to eat in 4 nights and out with owner recommended restaurants. We hiked with our 2 dogs on the Manistee River trail, in Arcadia nature reserve, Green Point Beach, Nordhouse wilderness area, and Mangoon Creek nature area. All were gorgeous and less than 40 min away. The best was coming back to the chalet, tired, dirty, and sun-kissed, to shower in a spa-like space. Thank you to our host for creating a perfect home-base for outdoor adventures in Northern Michigan."

"The staff was very kind and hospitable. The room was nice, cozy and very relaxing. The bar had drinks that we didn’t get a chance to have but assume were delicious. The beds were soft, and bouncy, very capable of generating good momentum. 😂 The bar had wonderful food, we tried the pizza and the burgers. Both delicious, but the burgers were next level artisanal burgers. Absolutely delicious. I can't wait to return to the Lost Pines Lodge. We had the best weekend. Thank you everyone for such a wonderful stay."

"We were texted at 8am, day of check in that the pool, spa and hot breakfast were all down. We just checked in quickly at 3 to change for a wedding. When we returned from the wedding at night, we noticed how bad the room smelled. On top of all the amenities being down and the smell, we decided to make the 3 hour drive home. We spent an hour on the phone with Hotels.com before being transferred to the hotel front desk. We were told there was nothing they could do because it was so late. If we did not have to be at a wedding, we would have taken care of calling them earlier. This was not a good experience and we would not stay here again."
