"The amenities are not properly maintained my son was playing at the big park and while he was running up the steps, his foot went through a rotted piece of wood, and it cut his ankle and was very scary to us. He is eight years old and 68 pounds. A normal child’s size. The windows in the cabin are so thin and weak and old one broke during a storm that went on. I have to pay cleaning fees even if I book the same cabin 2 times in a row. And this place seems very rundown."

"We were looking for a weekend getaway away from a lot people, so we chose to rent a cabin here. The cabin came without a TV which was not listed on any sight we were on. The property was beautiful and big, but the roads were gravel and muddy from a recent rain. Only one of the pools were open. The "beach" is not swimmable and is located along the Trinity River which can be pretty gross at times. The positives though were it was out of the way and very quiet. It left for a very relaxing weekend....

"This was a perfect little get-a-way, "glamping"... too hot to camp so stayed here, had sleeping bags on the floor with outdoor fun. Thank GOD for a/c, toilet and shower when the kids got hot or stinky! The deer and wild life were beautiful to see as well!"
