We did however have an issue with the condition of the room upon arrival. A large black trash bag left in the middle of the room, an unmade bed with a bag of food left over from the previous renters on top, food on the floor, dirty towels left behind, trash left over in the garbage cans and what appears to be a missing screw on the refrigerator that had us fearful of our deposit.We reached out to the owner and he was very responsive, replying that he was on his way immediately. He wound up reaching a cleaner to give the rooms a clean but this meant we had to leave the room immediately. We showered real quickly, drying off with our sandy beach towels and left asap....meaning check in time for us wasn't really until after 6PM. Far from ideal.I will say that the owner offered us a meager 7.5% refund, which helped but.....if I'm being honest, a bit more would have lessened the sting.We would absolutely stay there again as the room and location are most likely great.
