"We stayed 4 nights in a deluxe king room on the 5th floor. The room was bright, comfortable, and had amazing views of the mountains. The windows opened easily for fresh air. Small seating area with a TV, we found ourselves moving the coffee table and the table at the end of the bed to avoid bumping into them in the dark if using the toilet — the room layout could perhaps be improved. The most unusual design choice was the bed being positioned against the wall right next to the toilet area, which is separated only by a glass sliding door that doesn’t fully close. This means every sound from the toilet area is very clearly heard in the bedroom - not ideal! There are no sockets either side of the bed, whereas the opposite wall has them — another reason the bed might be better placed the opposite end of the room. No safe in the room either, The shower area is next to the bed, separated by a shower curtain. Toiletries, slippers, and robes were provided. Kettle and tea/coffee, small fridge, hair dryer, and a good-sized wardrobe. Breakfast 7-10am good choice. Free parking outside. Friendly helpful staff. Would return and recommend as a pleasant stay."

"Really appreciated first class laundry facility. Kitchen well equipped, lovely spacious modern apartment. Only problem was the dreadful bed - no proper mattress, just a kind of soft non-supporting topper. Both of us awoke with back pain. "

"My family did an 8-days ring road of Iceland in early April 2026, and this place/villa was, out of all the 7 hotels, hands down best hotel we stayed. My husband who doesn't usually leave reviews asked me to post a review for this place! Everything was spotless clean, modern and well equipped. We could definitely feel the owners' thoughtful touches throughout the villa (wooden chess set, warm blanket, olive oil for cooking, artistic coffee/tea cups, Reykjavik candle company 'hotel-lobby' room scent, cookbook for reference... ) And the hot-tub!! I think I want to re-visit Iceland just to use this place's hot-tub. Everything was so perfect and lovely. Thank you for the wonderful experience."

"My family of 6 (parents and 4 kids ages 9-16) had an absolutely amazing stay in this cabin. We visited Iceland once before (July 2024). Iceland was so amazing overall that we were eager for the chance to return. That time we did the Golden Circle, so we did the North this time. It was so beautiful, and this cabin was perfect. The hosts were attentive to all of our needs. Communication was quick and easy. The cabin was close enough to charming Akureyi to make runs to town easy, but it is still a totally remote setting. We saw the Northern Lights twice from the hot tub. I will never, ever forget that experience. Though truly just staying in the cabin would have been enough (the views are beautiful), we were also able to easily visit nearby sites. There was never a moment that I thought “I wish this cabin had…” because it had everything we needed and wanted. I could not recommend this beautiful home enough. "
