"The check-in was very efficient. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Property was well kept and clean. Close to many amenities. Only drawback we had was there a power outage in the city for over 10 hours which meant there was no power in our room nor was there any breakfast for the guests the following morning. Because of this we checked out earlier in the morning. Overall I would still recommend the Holiday Inn Express."

"Hot tub / Whirlpool not usable. No notice given prior to stay. No partial refund. Continental Breakfast below expectations. No early check in available. Room was clean. Bathroom ceiling had small crack / peeling paint in Room 108. Call ahead to see if Whirlpool in working order. Ask for refund policy if not available during your stay. "

"Staff was friendly, room was clean, only complaint was there was no soap. No hand soap or body wash for shower. They were completely out and I was told have been for several weeks."

"The room had a big hole in the wall. The desk light bulb was hanging since it was too big for the lamp. The lamp shade was just hanging on not screwed together! Outlet by bed had no cover plate! The place needs better maintenance in the room such as painting around sink area. Shower tub faucets were not secure and don’t fit the socket. Bed fitted sheet had a queen size for a king size bed. Bedspread had cigarette burn holes. Asked for a replacement of light bulb after 3 days no help even when reported it. Day of check out found a light bulb out on the desk. Staff do their best with what they got. Staff were nice. Owner really needs to step up and clean and upkeep the property!!"

"Everything and everyone were great "

"I was only in my room from 10 pm to 7 am for two consecutive days. I didn't use any of the amenities. However, a shower was important to me and the bathtub would not drain. The drain lever would change position but did not change the draining. The first night the water level was above my ankle bones after a 10 minute shower. I told the staff Saturday morning when I was leaving for the day that the shower working was very important to me and they wrote up a work order. That night, it appeared that someone had worked on the shower drain but the shower behaved the same way. I consider this to be very unsanitary and should not be acceptable condition for letting out a room in a hotel.They offered no compensation or even an apology when I checked out. They didn't seem to care. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. You have been warned."
