"I gave an overall rating of 2 stars because of the intense smell of ammonia in the toilet. I had to wear a mask & control my breaths whenever I use the toilet. The odor was too strong that I avoided taking a bath the next morning. Please do something about it. Thankfully the toilet & actual room is separated. The room was very comfy & had all I needed. The location is perfect, near good shops & public transportation."

"Win Hotel is right on the beach. It’s close to the bus stop. There are lots of restaurants and bars to enjoy. The spacewalk is 10 minutes by bus from here.Julio market is maybe 15 minutes from here. The room was clean uncomfortable. I would definitely come back."

As my daughter will be studying at Postech in next 4 years or so, this hotel is obviously going to be my #1 hotel in Pohang. 1. "Really great location! Short walks to the walking mall and Jukdo Market. Short drives to both Yeongildae Beach and Homigot. Room was spacious and housecleaning kept it very clean each day. Our only complaint is that the bed was very hard. We prefer softer beds, but the hard bed is common in Asia so it may work for others."

"This was our first time in Pohang, and we WERE extremely excited to stay here. The limited interaction we got with staff was fine. They were friendly (spoke very little English). Beware that this place does not have an elevator. Stairs only! So if you are disabled, have strollers & small children, it may not be convenient. "I needed a nice little place to stay during a holiday so we decided to give the Commodore a try. The front desk attendant was very kind and the staff was wonderful. The room was large and comfortable but only drawback was the decor. I used to live in Korea in the 1980’s and the decor was plenty much the same as it was then (smile). Still, this is not a dealbreaker and it is still a nice stay. "

"The views from the hotel were great. Hotel is clean. Staff is wonderful. Room is clean, spacious and comfortable. AC works good. Parking was easy. The hotel is far from most sightseeing spots (45min drive). There are some fish restaurants and some brunch cafe’s in a few minutes drive away. Other than that not much in the area for tourism. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. "

"I found this property at Expedia and stayed one night with my family, but I couldn't sleep at all due to too much noise outside of the property during the night. And also, I didn't feel safe staying this property so I wouldn't recommend this property. More importantly, the price rate for one night is a way too expensive considering all things in this property. Overall, I didn't have a good experience with this property. "

Great location on the beach

"The hotel was easy to find and the location was excellent. We had a smooth check in and the staff was friendly and helpful on every encounter. Every room there appeared to be different with unique view and size so choose well. The breakfast is cheap but you can do better at the coffee shop on the ground floor or the McDonalds next door. The bed was on a round base which made it difficult to get out of but it was comfortable once you got in. The view was delightful and the beach was perfect. Hope we get the opportunity to go back."
