The hotel is in the most amazing location imaginable. The scenery up there is breathtaking. The rooms though are more what you'd find in a hostel in Canada with tiny little windows and really basic decor. The lounge is really nice and the staff are very nice. We were there to x-country ski as probably most guests are and it's nice to be able to ski from the front door of the hotel on the amazing trail system which goes on forever.

Ideally located downtown on the same street as restaurants, cafes and bars. Parking on the street, over the road or behind the hotel. No on site charging but Lillehammer has many available. We used the charging stations at the mall that has a MacDonalds and a Starbucks, that’ll help you pass the time. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

A beautiful well maintained and appointed property. The only property we stayed in Norway during the National service workers strike that didn’t seem affected by the strike. Our rooms were serviced daily, restaurants were open, etc.
Would highly recommend this property to anyone, tip - book a lake view room(:

I what's quoted 3-500 krone for laundry, but it turned out to be 1200kr so not happy about that but everything else was very good and the staff are happy.

We loved, loved, loved this property. It is really close to the train station. It is an old building, with lots of charm, but well maintained and brought to modern standards. The staff were amazing, and are very proud of their little hotel and its history. If we are ever in Lillehammer again we would definitely make this our home base.
