The resort got a makeover and is completely refurbished. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We took our kids with us hiking, for which there are plenty of options, but childcare is available too if kids prefer not to hike. After the hike, we used the water park, enjoyed dinner and then used the family/game room for entertainment. It was perfect!

Other than the construction going on right outside my balcony the only other complaint would be the lack of any air-conditioning. Had to leave the doors and windows open all night (no screens) and the construction started early. Need to bring good ear plugs. The dining and the pools were over the top great and the staff was very helpful.

Absolutely beautifully designed, and one of the most amazing positioned luxury hotel for skiing ever. The food. Amazing. The facilities - incredible. Location - perfect.

A dream-like stay in mountain wonderlands. Warning to Americans: there’s no air conditioning. Stay somewhere else if this upsets you.

Excellent family run hotel right next to cable car
The Edelweiss is an excellent family run hotel right next to the Panoramabahn cable car for genuine ski-in ski-out holidays. The staff goes out of its way to make guests feel special and welcome. To give you an example: our bags got lost on BA and we ran out of baby food when all shops where closed on Saturday afternoon. The hotel staff managed to find baby powder in the middle of the night. Food and wine list excellent. Very child friendly, very large pool for the kids and excellent playroom. Sauna area nice if a little crowded at peak times.

Great family Pitstop in the Alps
We stopped after a long drive from Croatia. We wanted something relaxing and "resort" style. This is a right-sized resort. Good food (GREAT breakfast buffer and a la carte dinner) and high end services all in a Alpine/Austrian ambiance. Highly recommended.

Could be even better
Not as great as I would expect for a 5 star hotel compared to other 5 star hotels I have stayed in the past. The breakfast fruit selection and salads selection in the evening are a bit boring in my opinion. Other than I am quite happy with our short stay.

Erholungsurlaub: Das Hotel wird seinen 5 Sternen wirklich gerecht. Von eintreten in die Lobby bis zur Verabschiedung ist der Personal sehr höflich und freundlich und gut geschult. Die Familie des Hauses ist stets present und steht den Gästen immer zur Verfügung. Im Hotel ist für jeden etwas dabei: - Rutschen Park für groß und klein - Sauna Bereich - Bistro für einen Snack - infinity Pool - Wellness - …. Ein rund um luxuriöses Hotel. Bewertung 5 vom 5 Sternen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wunderschönes Hotel an der Piste
Das Hotel ist sehr schön, insbesondere der neue Teil. Bei den Zimmern muss man bei der Buchung aufpassen, ob man im neuen oder alten Teil bucht, da es hier große Unterschiede gibt.

Could have been Amazing, but........
Very good hotel. Family (too) devoted to running their hotel. Next to ski lift. Dinner is too fixed, there is no a la carte option. Breakfast very good, same as tea snack. 2 small issues, the Finnish Sauna could not be activated and the beds are very small. We issued complaint but we kept a bad feeling after their explanations on why the sauna could not be switched on. Givcen the high price to stay in this hotel, we felt not happy with the reception bla bla. We will not come back to this hotel. We will go to a new place for next year wintersport holidays.

Wir haben über eine Hotelplattform gebucht und sind "reingefallen". Gebucht haben wir ein Doppelzimmer mit Halbpension. Bekommen haben wir ein Appartement ohne Verpflegung und 150 m vom Hotel entfernt. Die Dame an der Rezeption des Hotels Edelweiß hat sich wirklich sehr bemüht und wir bekamen ein Doppelzimmer im Haupthaus. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür!! Nie wieder werde ich über eine "Hotelplattform" buchen sondern direkt im Hotel. Der Aufenthalt war wieder sehr schön.

Udmærket hotel med flot beliggenhed. God mad. Ingen udendørs pool. Gratis parkering i kælder og destination chargers fra Tesla, hvilket er godt hvis man kører el-bil.

Tolles Hotel direkt neben der Gondel und Piste inkl. Tiefgarage. Sehr gemütliches Zimmer, sehr freundliches Service und durchwegs bemühte und kundenorientierte Mitarbeiter. Hervorragendes Essen. Absolut empfehlenswert.
