Tiny House Living on the ranch in East Texas

Just little over an hour outside of Dallas our tiny house is nestled between Lake Tawakoni and Lake Fork in East Texas. It is located on the One Boot Ranch that specializes in raising grass fed Wagyu cross beef cattle. We also have a donkey and chickens all fun to watch.
To find a full list of ranch experiences during your stay visit our website www.onebootranch.com

Unplug from the city life, enjoy local cattle auctions, shopping or rent a boat at one of the lakes. In addition to the one bedroom the house has 2 additional sleeping lofts with floor mattresses, one has 2 twin beds while the other has a queen size air bed. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, and dinnerware. Being away from the city you will be amazed at the number of stars and constellations you can see in our wide open sky. We also offer a firewood & S’mores package through our website www.onebootranch.com. Located just 30 mins from Canton, it’s a great location for first Monday trades days. Canton, the largest flea market in the world, is the perfect place to pack up the wagon and take the family for the day.

Great Tiny House on Beautiful Ranch
Great stay! The tiny house was a good size, with everything well-stocked, in the kitchen, bathroom, etc. Very cozy & inviting living areas and bedroom. Quiet and peaceful ranch. Host was communicative and responsive but not intrusive. 10/10 would recommend!

Excellent property and management
I cannot praise this property and the owner, Greg, enough. I first reached out regarding this cute little place on a Saturday morning, following a terrible summer storm that took out electric service for more than 40K people. Greg told me he was already booked with other folks experiencing the same outage. I wasn't surprised, due to the sheer number of people affected, and kept searching for a place for my elderly parents to stay. A short time later Greg contacted me again, saying the current guests were checking out and he could make the tiny house available to us. Greg drove from Ft Worth, cleaned the tiny house and welcomed my parents into this cute home-away-from-home by 7 that evening. My parents stayed here for 3 nights until their electricity came back on. Although tiny, the space felt spacious and had everything they needed. It was very clean and well stocked. The location was nice as well, just a few short miles from grocery stores and restaurants, but felt as though it was deep in the country. I am forever in Greg's debt for making this VRBO available to my parents and would not hesitate to stay there again should the need arise.

Kickin’ back on the farm!
The tiny house is big enough to relax, cook, dine and has a separate bedroom. Nice to have washer and dryer. Great host and fun to be close neighbors with the cattle. Peaceful and refreshing!
