« This cottage is the kind of place that makes you want to stay and go nowhere and just enjoy the views, morning coffee in the the glassed in and air conditioned porch, or relaxing in a chair on the dock watching the turtles and fish. Same can be said for enjoying a beverage in the evening while grilling out.Going for walks and having fun riding the paddle boat also recommended. Loved it and will definitely be staying again in the future. »

« This little cabin by the river was such a nice place to unwind and explore all that the Willenborg Woods have to offer. The trails are clearly marked and take you through a variety of views. The hosts were responsive and helpful during the entire stay, with the highlight being a morning basket of farm fresh eggs, hot coffee, and a warm, delicious pastry. We could not recommend this rental enough! »

« We stayed here over the 4th of July! It was in a great location in the heart of Effingham right above a great little speakeasy and just a couple blocks from Joe Sippers for morning coffee. It looked exactly like the pictures — a big bright, open loft in a historic building that somehow still managed to feel modern and cozy. It’s one of those places that feels like being at home even though you’re away, especially with a well appointed kitchen with all the basic utensils and supplies for cooking....
