**5-Star Review for De Sol Hotel and Spa** I had an absolutely wonderful stay at De Sol Hotel and Spa! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The spa services were top-notch, providing a truly relaxing experience that left me feeling rejuvenated. The on-site dining was exquisite, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. The entire ambiance of the hotel was serene and sophisticated, making it an ideal getaway. It was also incredibly family-friendly, with activities and amenities that kept both the adults and kids entertained and happy. I can't wait to return and would highly recommend De Sol Hotel and Spa to anyone looking for a luxurious and family-friendly retreat!

Our bathroom smelled of mold/mildew. May have been the tub. Bathroom floor also had ants. We reported both to the hotels and were told it's the norm on the island for the smell in the bathrooms. The common areas are very nice. However, our room was damp and smelled. Not a great experience for the rate we paid. Will not stay there again.

In the middle of the island and 8 minutes drive from the airport. Easy to get to any place of the island with a car but the hotel provided your options with transportation if needed. The spa and restaurant were closed for off-season.

Very beautiful view towards sea and the mountain. Very clean, rooms are a little bit smaller in US standards but I noticed that's the way most European hotels are. Otherwise very beautiful hotel and will stay again.

The hotel states it’s a 5 star hotel, it’s nice but it’s not a 5 star more like a 3 star boutique hotel. Our room was next to the main road and you could hear everything! So much that you could even hear the pipelines at night which wasn’t pleasant. You have a small tv with limited channels and if you want anything from mini bar you have to pay which does not happen in a real 5 star hotel. The pictures can be a bit confusing for example, I thought that our bathroom was going just as modern and updated as the rest of the room but it was not. I tried to check out early but by the time reception called me I had already stayed in the hotel for 3 days and had 2 day’s remaining. They were nice enough to offer and move us to another room but by that time I didn’t want the hassle of moving my stuff for the remaining 2 days. The only plus was the shuttle from the hotel to Fira. You are better off getting an Air B n B for the price you get more amenities and sometimes even for cheaper!

This hotel was amazing! Absolutely beautiful, but they keep cats on the property. While the cats aren't bothersome, my husband is highly allergic. However, the manager was so awesome. He switched our room to the sister hotel! Not as nice decor wise, but still a nice accommodation.

Modern and Clean Rooms. Property itself is very beautiful and offers a restaurant and bar on site. Staff goes above and beyond! Also, there's a Mini Mart, ATV&Scooter Rental across the street. Definitely recommend this place.

I came here on my honeymoon with my wife and we were greeted at the door and were given wine and fruit complimentary. The staff were amazing, very accommodating and kind. The room was immaculate and the facilities were just as impressive. The pool area was very comfortable and the staff there were just as nice. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service throughout the day to Fira, the main city where buses fun across the island. I would recommend going out for food as it is quite expensive at the hotel but the overall quality was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely facilities, staff were tremendous, food reasonably priced for 5* hotel. Shuttle bus to Fira great for evening trips. Away from the crowds, but only a few minutes by car to everything on the island.

The hotel is in the middle of the island. It's about 2 miles away from more places to eat you can walk or get an uber for 36 euros or a taxi on the station will charge you 15 euro for a taxi 4 people. The hotel does offer a shuffle to Fira, just be sure to check the hours.

New hotel in Greece that is very clean and well run. Free transportation to Fira (only 5 min drive). We had a Villa which had plenty of space for my family of 3 (16 year old daughter). Food at hotel restaurant was great. If you want to stay somewhere that is a few minutes from the busyness of the island this is a great spot

only stayed here for 1 night but we had a great experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, our room was beautiful, loved the bathroom and the jacuzzi (seemed like a dated idea but very modern execution!) we didn't get the chance to dine at the hotel but the menu sounded delicious and the restaurant was beautiful. The pool area was lovely as well. we also booked the room with the private pool and it was really nice. unfortunately the garden view isn't much of a view but it's definitely quiet and peaceful (nice break from the chaos). They also offer a shuttle into Fira which is nice because otherwise you're about a 40 min walk away.

The DeSol Hotel was very nice, comfortable and well maintained. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, expecially the people on reception. Food at restaurant and pool bar was varied and tasty. Our room, although the standard double, was comfortable although there was a small problem of other guests being rather noisy late at night. This, however, did not require any major comlaint to the front desk as it was short lived. My only criticism was the lack of things to do on site. I would recommend the establishment of some form of live entertainment 2-3 times a week, if possible. Otherwise, we were very happy during our 8 day stay.
