"We stayed at North Vat in Dungeness. What an incredible property in an incredible location! We loved every moment of it. North Vat may be one of the most beautiful houses I have ever stayed in (and that is saying something!). It is flooded with light on even the dullest days, the floor to ceiling windows bring the outside in, and it is so wonderfully designed with such brilliant attention to detail that it feels extremely luxurious. Dungeness is just awesome; the beach, the sea, the ever-changing sky, the austere and compelling power station, the wildlife (we saw foxes, rabbits and of course many many birds), the tiny railway and the tiny plants and lichen. Everything looks like art and it is an artists paradise for sure. I 100% recommend North Vat, Dungeness and Bloom Stays who did all they could to make our trips just wonderful. Thank you ❤️"

"Cleaning could be better Requires fresh decoration On arrival we suspected that the fridge was not working, contacted owner the following day who told me that it is a smart fridge and would turn on when food was put in it. Did a shop and put it in the fridge. Following day the fridge was still not working. Contacted the owner who replaced the fridge in the afternoon with a small counter top model. As a result of chilled food not being chilled for 26 hours it all had to be thrown away £50 pounds worth. I think that during the cleaning regime appliances should be checked to confirm they are working. lighting in Kitchen and bathroom not good enough No mirror near a power point for drying hair etc No coat hooks anywhere in the property Would only recommend if these issues are rectified"

"We had a lovely stay in Dungeness and it was a great opportunity to properly disconnect from London, particularly during the heat. The location is fantastic, with plenty of opportunities for long beach walks and great food, and having the Snack Shack right across the road was a real bonus. Our only minor gripe was that, despite requesting and arranging a high chair and travel cot in advance, neither was there when we arrived. When the first travel cot was delivered, it was unfortunately covered in what can only be described as bird poo! This was dealt with very well and promptly by the hosts, but it did make the start of the stay a little more stressful than it needed to be, especially with a baby. That aside, we had a really enjoyable stay and would happily return"

"Radar is a wonderful, comfortable place. It offers a fantastic view over the beach, we had sunny days throughout but I think it would be just as impressive whatever the weather. We had just 2 nights but to just arrive, park up and not get in the car again until departure was blissful."
