"Escaping to the country has never been more fun and magical. The resident robin and all his many friends keep you in that chilled mindset. The town of Rye was 10 mins by car and full of historical charm. It was even being used for filming while we visited. We walked from Rye to Camber sands along the cycle path and there are frequent buses back. "

"We had a great stay at North vat towards the end of January this year, the weather was cold wet and wild, but that's what we wanted so we could hunker down in this beautiful property on the beach. Inside it is lovely and warm with underfloor heating throughout and great to top up with the log burner at night (loads of logs provided). The kitchen was well equipped for cooking each night, with a lovely big dining table for eating and playing games round. We didn't watch much of the big TV but it is a Smart so has most apps for streaming from your own accounts. The whole house was lovely and clean with everything provided. It was a real joy to spend a week here chilling, cooking, chatting and playing games. Just 2 observations, the kitchen could do with a bread knife and the upstairs shower was only warm on max, but don't let this put you off from booking. Thanks for a fab stay."

"The Pump station is a beautiful place to stay and Dungeness is absolutely breathtaking. The renovation of the station has been very well done and the kitchen is well equipped, but there were a few small issues which made the stay overall feel not really worth the money. The pump station was very cold and whilst there was a fire we weren't able to adjust the temperature of the heating at all which meant we woke up very cold. One of the bathrooms has a bath and a very very low pressure handheld shower that you have to crouch in the bath to use. Given up to 6 adults can theoretically stay it seems weird that there would not be two functional showers or at least that it would not be made very clear on the website. The customer service is very blunt and cold via email and again, came across quite strangely given the cost of the stay and this detracted from the experience for example, I asked if they had tea and coffee at the accomodation (which is quite standard in holiday homes) and was simply told 'I would recommend bringing with you all supplies that you think you will need to make your stay a comfortable one', which was very weird and evasive - and also somewhat incorrect as they did have oil / salt etc? The bed in the main bedroom was also bizarrely and uncomfortably soft. Overall, beautiful accomodation let down by some of the practicalities and probably not worth the price."

"We absolutely loved everything about our stay at East Cottage. It was incredibly warm and welcoming to arrive out of the wind and rain into this beautifully designed little oasis of calm! The attention to detail is outstanding, and everything felt very generous, from the provision of a starter fire kit to the cosy blankets on the beds and some beautiful books to look through by the fire. The cottage was also spotlessly clean. We can't wait to go back."
