We were even just a few minutes' walk to the lake path entrance for a nice hike partway around the lake. Our suite was cozy with an actual full bar (minus the liquor) in the room. « The place was amazing! Very clean and looked very nice. We kept our small cooler loaded with ice from the fridge ice maker for our day trips. The hot tub worked wonderfully. One note is this place has a normal water heater. You will drain all the hot water if you use the hot tub. The bed was amazingly restful. Typically, I hate sleeping on any bed but ours. Not the case. I use tons of pillows too and they had ample amounts. We did notice in the mornings that there was some water leaking from the...

« I think a lot of the negative reviews are unwarranted. It was clean and had plenty of room for the 6 of us (plus dogs). The house is old and you need to use the window AC units, but it was fine and stayed cool all day. The prices are 1/2 that of other properties in the area. The house is a few minutes away from the beach. It is a duplex, but we never had an issue with the neighbors. The only bathroom is on the top level and up a flight of steep steps. It may not good for elderly people or people...
