"The convenience of location, affordability of a safe, comfortable room, and being so close to Hyde Park and other great locations, with a walkable distance to Paddington Station. I would definitely do this again and have a longer stay/ layover in London."

"Great location near Paddington along with Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens. Lots of dining options close by too.
No Air Con and with 3 fire doors within a short hallway we couldn’t get any draft. They did have a fan in the room and the window opened a little bit.
Tiny bathroom."

"The Union Inn is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. All the accommodation has been recently updated and our bedroom was well equipped with complimentary toiletries etc, plus tea, coffee and bottled water. We didn't dine there but the food looked really nice and was great value. As to the inclusive breakfast, it was excellent and substantial.
Andy and Wendy are doing a fantastic job on developing this place and couldn't be better hosts. Location is great just 10mins walk from the...

"Excellent location and great stay!
The hotel is in a fantastic spot—literally a short walk to many of London’s top highlights. The train station is a convenient 5-minute walk, and Sainsbury’s convenience store is equally close. There aren’t many restaurants right nearby, but that didn’t bother me at all.
Breakfast was solid. We were seated quickly, and while the avocados were a little hard, everything else was delightful. The room (we had a queen corner unit) was spacious and comfortable. My boyfriend found the bed a bit firm/stiff, but I slept great with no issues. The hotel itself is very clean, and the staff were genuinely helpful.
I would happily stay here again!"
"The best capsule I have stayed in London. It’s brand new and hope it continues to be well maintained. Gender specific toilets and showers which is perfect. Stairs to the top bunk are awkward so you have to be careful, one wrong move and it’s a wrap! Great communal area, wish there was more seating and also couldn’t locate luggage room on my stay, maybe this need better signage."
"We loved our stay at Strand however I was incredbily disappointed when my flight was delayed and I have decided to pay for an extra night since I was arriving on the red eye and couldnt check in until 3. When I arrived at 9 they told me they considered me a no show. They gave me a room and told me bo problem… only yo charge me 265 for a no show fee. I was not told this when I checked in. After dealing witg a nasty front desk manager .. we were met by the hotel manager who assured us this would be removed. That should have been done from the start . There was no reason to get all upset for this. They need to fix this policy"
"The location of this hotel is what draws people there. The rooms are small, but you are in the location for the sites, not to stay in the room. It is a very busy hotel. The lobby is always busy. It is currently undergoing renovations, which makes the lobby look even smaller. The staff are very helpful, but we found that the housekeeping was lacking. We had run out of tissues, toilet paper, and towels. The room we were in got sun all day long (and the summer days in London are very long), so we had to keep the curtains drawn to help keep the room cooler because the air conditioners did not go lower than 72 degrees F. The food was delicious, the drinks were delightful, the staff very friendly, and the view beautiful! I would definitely stay there again."
