"The property is off the beaten path a little bit, which is very nice. Pets are welcome. Staff is very friendly. Recommended several places in town and things to do on our arrival. Continental breakfast is basic but nice quick bite. Pool was closed(Late Feb stay). In room wood fireplace and free firewood is awesome. Will return. "

"Hot tub was not hot, more of a warm bathtub. The pool was cold so the children all migrated to the hot tub and played there, as an adult this was not enjoyable. The rooms we stayed in were on the ground floor(2nd floor) and were extremely noisy, along with sounds coming through the walls. The manager stated it was just the plumbing and water running through the pipes. The bright side was they did a very nice job with the breakfast and the staff was courteous and friendly. "

"Checking in was easy; the lobby smelled so clean putting a great first impression. The room was very clean as well, all things in all the right places. The bed was firm in the best way helping to reduce feeling other moving throughout the night. The shower pressure was amazing, it's hard to find such a thing in a hotel so much appreciated. It was nice to have Happy Joe's so close after a day of hiking, grabbing a pizza right there made life easy. This was my 2nd stay in seven month and it was another great stay. Thank you! "

"Steve was such a gracious host! He showed us around upon arrival and even allowed us to stay a little after checkout since we arrived a little later than we had originally planned. Everything about the house was perfect. It was the perfect blend of a cozy cabin in the woods with all the amenities down to the classic Wisconsin junk drawer(which was so handy!! We used several of the things in there!) The house had everything we needed and then some. The living room with fireplace overlooking the beautiful woods and bird “theatre” was our favorite part. We spent most of the day in that room and loved every minute of it! Lots of kids items are at the house so it’s a very kid friendly place, we would love to come back with our kids someday. Thanks for a wonderful weekend! "
