The host was very communicative, responsive, and kind throughout our stay. The grounds and the inside of the dome were clean and well kept, which we really appreciated.The location is right off the road, so it wasn’t quite as secluded as we expected. Also, the dome appears a bit more worn than the photos suggest. ie: there was some film and moss buildup that made it difficult to see out clearly.A few small amenities listed didn’t seem to be available (like hand sanitizer and Kindel), and we did have some trouble with the hot tub not maintaining its heat.On our last day, we did notice some small black bugs inside the dome that were crawling on us. We didn’t keep food inside, so we’re not sure what attracted them, but it may have just been a seasonal/outdoor factor. Additionally, the BBQ didn’t seem to be working, although we didn’t reach out to the host for assistance, so that may have been easily resolved.Overall, it was still a positive experience and a great introduction to glamping." We took a day to drive up to Diablo Lake and take in all of the waterfalls, snowy mountains, some light hiking and the gorgeous river. She responded quickly to everything we needed, and took care of things that needed addressing. We came as a family of 26 for a memorial. 8 of those were children. There is a dining room with a large table and probably room for 10 to 12 open to the kitchen that had a large bar with seating for 11 and a nook with seating for 4\. So, we had PLENTY of seating. The kitchen was nice and off the kitchen was a seperate room with a island and fridge which worked for us as "The gluten free space" for those who needed it in our family, and it was so helpful. Also there are 2 sitting areas, a pool table, a foosball table in finished basement and a ballroom. Our kids utilized all these areas and had a blast! The house has some things to update, but that takes time in such a large space. There were beds to accomodate all of us and beds were comfy. It met all our needs."
