Besides the weather it was a great stay

Love where the house was situated . Although it was cold we really enjoyed just walking three houses down to the bay to fish or just down the to stairs to fish in the canal. I can’t wait to comeback in better weather

10th stay in Grand Isle

This was our 10th trip to Grand Isle and you just can’t beat these houses. The beds are comfortable and the houses are always spotless. Hosts are always accommodating and willing to make the trip better in any way. This will always be our go to spot.

Perfect for a family with 6 kids. Within walking distance to Elmers island where there was great fishing from the bridge and dolphins visible from the beach. Small community feel with zero tourist traps.

Large camp for groups

We stayed here for a group fishing trip Thurs-Sunday. The camp was very spacious and accommodated us all perfectly. It had large front and back balconies for great views and the downstairs patio area was great for cooking and hanging out.

Amazing location for a fishing trip!

I plan a trip to Grand Isle once a year and stumbled across this house. We decided to give it a try due to its location and I can tell you we were not let down. Seven kayak anglers stayed at the Wahoo and we found it to be a nice relaxing place. Plenty of room for seven men and plenty of room to dock and pull out seven kayaks. We had immediate access to grass beds, flats, and oyster beds. Fishing was amazing and the house was awesome. We will be booking again!

Wahoo was the perfect fishing getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay at wahoo! We've stayed at fishing camps in Grande Isle lots of times but this rental was clearly a step above all the others. Finally a rental that lived up to the pics that were posted on the website!! I usually don't want to be the one that is in charge of setting up the rental in fear that the rest of the party will be disappointed it the choice I made. It was such an awesome feeling to walk in the door for the first time and just smile because everything was way better than we could've even imagined . This rental was like staying in you're own home with all the amenities you need to go fishing! We were able to catch record fish just a hundred yards from our private boat launch We loved our stay. We will definitely be back to do more kayak fishing at Wahoo!!! Mike France Slidell,la
