"We stayed as a group of 8 ladies, we we watching a show at the stage making this apartment the perfect location. Directly outside the metro station, with a few minutes walk. The apartment had everything we needed, it was spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfy. Would highly recommend "

"Budget hotel but as good as you need it to be. Clean, helpful staff, good parking. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment on breakfast. The street the hotel is on is run down however, and Whitley Bay town centre has its fair share of homelessness, troubled youths and failed businesses. The sea front area is lovely though."

"Stayed at Elmswood Guest House recently. It was a single room without an en-suite, which I was aware of beforehand and was absolutely fine for what I needed. Overall, everything was relatively clean, though there were a couple of details that could have been better.. some mould in the shower and quite a bit of hair next to the side of the bed. Nothing catastrophic, but noticeable. The stay itself was straightforward and did the job. It’s very much a “somewhere to sleep” kind of place rather than somewhere you’d go out of your way to experience. The only slightly frustrating part was the checkout process. I couldn’t find the dropbox for the keys when leaving, so ended up putting them back in the lockbox. The email instructions they send try to be friendly but were a bit unclear and not especially helpful in that moment. All in all, it served its purpose, just with a few small things that could be improved."

"Outstanding,hotel and staff.love this place.breakfast needs attention.every thing lovely,clean and in abundance but the cooked breakfast needs attention,terrible sausages and the beans looked like they had been reheated over and over again and not just me and my families but quite a few tables had the same left overs. But will I go again,absolutely.house keeping manager ,thankyou for going above and beyond for us.problem with the booking and there computers side but resolved in a heartbeat.thankyou."

"Lights tripped twice on arrival, fan in bathroom very noisy. Lack of power points by bed. Didn’t replenish any tea, milk or toilet rolls. Windows didn’t open or close properly which meant you could hear everything on the street. Location excellent, very good shower and nice big room. Hallway smells divine. "
