"The location close to the port was important with ferry access but it was nice to be able to walk around the historical port area. The staff spoke English and were very helpful- I had not had lunch and was starving - they graciously made me a snack (it was not free but I was grateful). They also made a great dinner recommendation in close proximity. The previous night the area was involved in protests and I felt very safe as a female solo traveler."

"The staff was helpful ,however the space wasn't what they were selling in the posting photos .A small room filled with stuff. Mismatch bedding. And location so far from the airport.
Any way very disappointing . 8"

"Great experience - close to Malendure beach, nice facilities and a very helpful host. We could both go to restaurants and cook on our own. Nice nature around the house as well. Would definitely use it again."

I really enjoyed my stay in La Tortue Bleue. The pool and the rhum bar are definitely adding a touch of calm and relaxation to the place. Being used to hotels, I felt the indoor rooms and commodities could have been cleaner. Overall a very good experience.

Really pretty spot, the view is breath taking, especially at sunset, and the large infinity pool is a bonus. It is spotless everywhere, looks like it was freshly renovated and painted. Nice cocktails and the food was really good. I heard another guest asking for nibbles during cocktail hour and I admit that I was thinking the same but there was nothing. Not the end of the world but it would be a great thing, especially since there is no internet in the rooms (only issue I had), which might make...

Very nice place, great views, great people. We felt at home during our stay. The gathering the owners did for us and all other guests on our last day was truly touching! I would definitely go back.
