Perched dramatically on a hilltop, this ancient stone village offers spectacular views across the Luberon Valley from its medieval castle ruins. Explore the winding cobblestone streets and browse local artisan shops before visiting the Tuesday market for Provençal lavender products and regional specialties.
I would not say no to staying longer in Gordes, the quaint village, stunning scenery and kind people draw you in. Le Mas des Romarins is a hotel with warmth, minimal decor, and not many rooms therefore making it unique and charming. The cleanliness, big comfortable bed and hospitality of the staff was impressive. In addition, the restaurant had superb, savoury cuisine, with excellent service. The only two suggestions would make to the owner is to entertain the idea of providing navette...

Do not look further - we hunted around for a beautiful spot to stay in Vaucluse, and considered splurging on some fancy places. But then we found Hotel du Poete and that was it! It has all the amenities of a fancier B&B but a bit more privacy to come and go than staying as a guest in someone's home. The hotel is beautiful, located right on the creek/river that is part of the Fontaine/Sorgue. Open your window to hear gentle running water and NOTHING else. So peaceful. Or sit in the beautiful...

Our stay at this beautiful Domaine was truly special. From the moment we arrived, we felt the care and attention that goes into every little detail. The property is absolutely charming, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by the peaceful beauty of nature and lovely apple orchards. It is a place where you can truly slow down, relax, and enjoy the surroundings.

The hotel is very nice with lovely rooms and amenities. The pool area was nicely done. The king size bed was extremely uncomfortable however which is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. The food in the bar was basic and the flies present in the lobby made for an uncomfortable eating experience. Overall would give it 8/10

Gorgeous place in a beautiful garden. Staff were extremely helpful. Lovely breakfast. Very clean. Well located so very easy to wander about the old town. Couldn’t ask for more.

Great location by the river and center of the village. Walking distance to all the attractions. A superb restaurant with a huge outdoor terrace with an incredible view. The restaurant and lounge were recently renovated and elegant, but the rooms themselves are a bit outdated, but big, spacious and comfortable. Very nice staff.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Beds are comfortable, linen is lovely and the breakfast buffet was awesome (14 euros). The gentleman taking care of the breakfast area keeps it impeccable and is always there to help. It is an easy short walk into the little town where you can find restaurants and shops. They also have a lovely private pool area.
The hotel also offers free parking at the lot across which has many spots availble.
