Stay was nice room and hallway had a spicy smell.
Room was not cleaned well. Rooms multiple hairs in bathroom.

First time at this hotel and the AC wasn’t working, barely any air coming out. Carpets were dirty and front desk wasn’t there half of the time. Necessity made us book again and they CANCELED our stay without ANY notification. The only way we found out was because we wanted to upgrade our room. We got no apology OR explanation as to why we had our PREPAID stay canceled. Now we are l left last minute to find a hotel during a completely booked up weekend throughout the town.
We booked rooms with two queens. But upon arrival were rudely told that our reservation was for king beds and it was our fault... it was clear the hotel was busy and their process was old and didnt own up to the fact that they messed up. I pulled up my reservation and showed the agent our booking. He saw that we were correct and then proceeded to say we should have booked directly with them not through Expedia because their old tech doesnt sync well. We were on a business trip with grown men and we all had to sleep together. Annoying for sure. Beyond that I wish i could say the place was up to par but every category was below reasonable expectation. Room were run down, breakfast was horrible, weird rules around food, and dusty/dirty place.

I should not be charged. The first room didn’t have cable tv, microwave wasn’t working and it didn’t have an iron board nor laundry bag. Then e got moved to another room and had to take a Cold shower,

Wrong room and no elavator
I reserved a room with 2 queens bed but was given a room with 1 king bed. When asking for the room to be corrected I was told it could be but it would be on the 2nd floor. Then was told that the elevator was not working correctly. I was traveling with my 82 year old mother and carring all our luggage up and down stairs was not an option for me.
TV and phone didn’t work in first room. Hook on back of bathroom door was broken off. 2nd room smelled of cigarette smoke and tv wouldn’t change from VH1. Curtain at AC unit was supposed to be white but was black. Used keurig pod in tray at coffee machine. Desk chair covering had peeled off.
Its a decent place to stay in Gonzales, close to restaurants, heb, walmart & circle k. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was good with offerings of scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits & gravy, cereal, yogurt, danish & muffins, even make your own pancakes!

Room haf a musty wet smell to it. Found stains on the curtains and lamp shades like they hot wet. Breakfast was not fully set up for the amount of people there. Had to go out to eat because mot enough food.
Very helpful and friendly people here.
I also left a valuable item when I left and house keeping found it and call me within an hour of my departure

Property was in bad condition with structural damage in my room. The breakfast was horrible. Biscuits doughy in middle not baked thoroughly and the sauage was as if they were cooked a second time which made them hard as a rock. My experience so bad, I have added Holiday Inn Express to my never book again hotel.
I had a great stay until using the shower the next morning there was no HOT water. Plenty of hot water in the sink but not the shower. I'm sure it is easily correctable.
The whole building was Very DIRTY. The hallways un vacuumed, the elevator floor was filthy. The 3rd floor had a bad odor and the room. A roach was in the tub. Coffee was cold and no food by 8:30 am.
I will never stay in this hotel in Gonzales again.
Bad check in due to faulty machine. Breakfast was not good. Burnt eggs in the pan and no one changed pans or serviced the area the 12 minutes I was there. Very clean.
There was no hot water. the staff reassured us daily that it was fixed, but cold showers for all.
