We did not continue our stay. We left a day early due to loud scratching in the wall. It was loud enough to hear from far away on a video. A terrible experience.

The hotel it self was great. Great location great breakfast. OK room. However, the front desk employees could have been more nicer. Not sure if they just don’t want to be there because of Mardi Gras or something but come on now. You asked for the job and needed it , why act like this ? Either find another job or have better customer service.

Not expecting to return any time soon.
Not all that great. Staff was friendly depending on who you worked with. 1st staffer would not refund our last night saying we needed to talk with the 3rd party source who booked it (Hotels.com). Another staffer was quick and effective at refunding our last night (depending on who you work with). Room was sub-par at best. AC was full of dust and didn't work well (RM 208). The room also had old, dilapidated coach and furnishings. Smelled like smoke. Not a great experience. Sorry for the sh!t news Comfort Suites.

Scott, sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. The Front Desk agent was following policy. We didn't have to refund you at all but I did it as a courtesy (no good deed goes unpunished). I do agree that the furnishings need to be updated and we due for a renovation soon. Maybe you'll give us another shot after that happens.

comfortable stay
the decor was nice, and the flooring was a plus that it wasn't carpet which tends to feel dirty when it gets old. the hallways smelled nice, there was some sort of deodorizer or spray that kept it from smelling. the red color was pleasing.

This is my 2nd time staying here. Last was 5 years ago. Just as updated and gorgeous and comfortable as before. The staff are very nice and the rooms are top notch with all amenities. It’s so wonderful it’s hard to leave! There are many hotels in this area, choose this one! Trust me!

The hotel itself was located in a good location. The rooms need updating and the smell throughout was really smoky. I was charged double and was told it was a hold. The hood and the coat of the 2 room 2 night stay was charged/held. When asked she said “Oh, it should drop off soon”. The charges did NOT drop off soon or at check in.

The hotel is fine. It could use some cleaning and upgrade to items, a little TLC would go a long way. The remote for the tv only worked periodically which was very frustrating. The breakfast was a little skimpy but alright. The big problem was when we returned to the room later in the evening, there were no parking spaces and there were several cars already parked on the grass. We had to park down the street.

This hotel will not disappoint. From check in to check out, everything was WONDERFUL! The room was absolutely immaculate. Very clean, and no rust anywhere in the bathroom. We have stayed at other hotels before, but hands down, this Comfort Inn Suites in Gonzales have jumped to the very top spot on my list. Definitely would stay again.

The hotel was clean but the beds were uncomfortable and the overall decor was very dated. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. The location is convenient to shopping and numerous dining options. It was ok for a quick overnight but I think I would have to choose another hotel for anything longer than that.

The facility and rooms were extremely clean. Check out time was at 11. I asked if it was possible for a late check out, gentleman at the desk said yes I’ll put you down for noon. Perfect!! Housekeeping comes the next day banging on the door at 11, I informed I had a late check out. Girl tells me I wasn’t in the books and had 15 minutes to leave. Call the front desk and manager informs that the guy working the night before was new and he did put me down for a late check out but I had 15 minutes to leave because she wasn’t granting that. So I hurried, packed my stuff and finished getting ready in my vehicle.

Rachel, I am the manager and I never spoke to you about a late checkout. We keep a log of late checkouts and you were not on it because we knew the morning prior that there would be no more late checkouts available for that day.. I hope you enjoyed your stay otherwise.
