Bahia del Duque

10/10 Excellent

"This is an excellent hotel in a great location. The pools are unique utilising local rock as well as traditional pool materials and look amazing. We didn’t use the pools much as the hotel has direct access to the Playa Del Duque beach, which is man made with golden sand and crystal clear water. There are lots of restaurants but we only used two of them as we purposely had B&B as we wanted to out in the evening rather than staying in the hotel. The Japanese restaurant (Kensei) was a great experience and we would highly recommend the tasting menu. The hotel is very classy and an upmarket feel and associated service. If you want the livelier side of Tenerife the Fañabe area with it restaurants and bars is only a short walk away. We look forward to returning to this hotel in the future"

Ona Hollywood Mirage

"We very much enjoyed our time. The people were lovely and trying to be very obliging. The entertainment staff was lovely. They had some construction going on. And as a result, the buffet restaurant shut down and moved to another location. that location was quite a walk, and it was down a hill. I don't think people want to walk 10 minutes.to have breakfast, and I do believe that construction should have been limited to perhaps only in the evening, but not in the daytime when you have customers visitors staying there. That was very inconvenient. Other than that. We had a very joyous time and enjoyed that resort. This was our first visit to Tenerife .We are from Canada"

"We have returned to the Abama to celebrate our anniversary. We have had a wonderful stay and have received nothing but exceptional service in all departments. A special mention to Fran and Isabelle who recovered my husband’s luggage with his medication as the wrong case was off loaded. Sorted out clothes for him and collected the case on our behalf from the airport. On our arrival cava and a sumptuous cake awaited us in our room. We had a lovely meal at the El Mirador on our anniversary with a personalised desert . I can’t thank the staff enough for a very memorable evening. We stayed in the adults only retreat which I can highly recommend,peaceful attentive pool staff who repositioned the parasol throughout the day and served drinks. The retreat facilities were lovely as were all the staff. Thank you to Iria for her kindness on our last day. Breakfast staff Tamara, Fabian, Adrienne, Elizabeth, Laura thank you for your cheery welcome and for knowing our names from the moment of our arrival. A visit you won’t forget and I am looking forward to our next stay. Excellent cocktails."

"Excellent 3 star property, apartment was large and clean, we had a lovely sea view. Did not mind paying daily for the sunbeds as this stops people just placing towels on them and going out for the day. All the staff in the apartments reception were lovely and also at the poolside bar / cafe. Great stay!"

"I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and it’s always my first choice when I’m in the area. I know what to expect here and generally always have a lovely stay. This time I did have a bit of an issue getting a late checkout. I had to push quite a bit for it, as initially the staff didn’t seem keen to allow it even though rooms were available. It was eventually sorted, which I appreciated. I then had a couple of issues with the key cards not working, but these were dealt with quickly and everything was sorted within around 15 minutes. Overall, still a lovely hotel and somewhere I’ll continue to come back to. The issues were a little frustrating at the time, but they wouldn’t stop me staying again."

"Superb hotel, great location for ourselves, 3rd time visiting and we love this hotel. Room was lovely and clean, we chose to overlook the pool area. Breakfast is outstanding, probably the best you can get. Staff and housekeeping are are great, super professional. I’d highly highly recommend this hotel, we couldn’t fault it."
