The bathroom really needs an upgrade. The toilet was rickety, the shower sprays all over the floor unless shower head is pointed to the wall. The toilet had trouble flushing and the hooks were about to fall off the wall. The towels stayed damp because there was no fan and there was nowhere to put any clothes or items except on top of the back of the toilet. Lastly there were holes and
rust and the bathroom smelled

I loved our garden view and the path to the front desk. Walks in the morning to breakfast were amazing. Loved the hedge art and the overall cleanliness of the courtyard.

The rooms are outdated and very dirty. Stains on the bedsheet and what looks like blood splatter on the bathroom wall. The room smells like rotten eggs. I’d tell the front desk but they were so disinterested at checkin I don’t think they’d care or do anything. We are paying $350 to stay in a dumpy best western. This is price gouging.
Location was accessible and easy for my meetings nearby. There was no hot water for showers so was a bit disappointed in a cool to warm shower. I know there is construction going on so it might be part of it. Staff are great!

The best place to stay in Goleta without breaking the bank.
And the free breakfast! It's a good decent breakfast that will feed a busy family. I've stayed at other Best Westerns and this location is the BEST breakfast.
Also the location is walking distance from grocery stores and restaurants.. and two min drive to the freeway.
Stay here. You won't regret it!

The place is average but location is ideal. My only complaint was housekeeping waking me up at 8:30 by knocking to see if room was occupied and there was a long hair on my clean hand towel. But, inexpensive and good location.
I caught a cold because the hot water temperature in the shower was abnormally low. The water pressure in the toilet was low and it took 5 minutes for the water to fill.
A/c was broken and broke again after they fixed it. Bad area, lots of shady characters. Bed was uncomfortable and the bedding was very light. Little knat like bugs in room. Old carpet and thin walls.
Was fine, breakfast good, power out lets on left side of room didn’t work and shower had lump of long hair in the drain. Smoke alarm red blinking light was annoying AF at night. Room service sprays strong cleaners that got us nauseous.
Great place to stay when visiting your student at UCSB!

Floor if shower absolutely filthy and slimy.
I asked front desk staff for cleaning service
- they were rude and resistant to get cleaning help. Then breakfast was being shut down at 8:50 - I asked why so early - staff said ‘I don’t speak English’ - so I spoke to her in Spanish and. He simply walked away.
I was impressed with the hotel amenities and convenient accommodations in the room (like the numerous outlets and lighting options). I had some of the best sleep here as compared to other hotels, as the PTAC unit generated nice white noise & the pillows were quite comfortable on my king bed. The food was excellent both mornings and staff was kind and efficient. I just wish I had time to enjoy that hot tub!

A bare-bones kind of room (the safe didn't work, the curtains didn't fully open, minimal decor) and not-very-good breakfast. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. All in all, I wouldn't stay there again.
Tv didn’t work. Told front desk about it. Didn’t bother to fix problem.

The front desk personnel where very nice, they treated everyone as if they were family or new them for years. Breakfast was nice as well the kitchen staff worked very hard to make sure that the area stayed clean and helped anyone that requested assistance. Thank you Best Western!
