"Room could have been cleaner. Hair in tub still, fingernail clipping behind door. Restaurant was very busy and we needed reservations to eat. Was not pointed out upon arrival. Restaurant ran out of some menu items by the time we could eat. Food was meh. This hotel is farther away from city center and to get to more eating places is about 20 minute walk. Good for getting in and out of each day, not good for food when we got back. Breakfast was ok, but they were slow to replace items that...

"We had a brilliant overnight stay in this old pub in this tiny cove. The staff are really lovely and the food was excellent. Very comfortable bed and a nice clean fresh bathroom. Breakfast was large and tasty. There's a bit of plumbing noise but you can expect that in old buildings."

"All the staff were very helpful and friendly from reception to spa to waiting staff, could not fault them. Also the food was really good, we ate in the more relaxed restaurant one night and it was lovely. Breakfast was always fresh and varied. We used the pool and spa but didn’t have any treatments. The area was always clean and well looked after and the pool was lovely and warm!"
