Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour
We have stayed at Leonardo twice waiting for cruises to come into Port so it is very convenient, however during both stays we were shoveled around to different rooms due to one problem or another. The hotel, no matter how convenient to the port will no longer be our hotel of choice when in Southampton. ...

I would describe the stay as travelodge level rooms- fairly basic. Probably a 2-3 star stat. Standard of cleanliness isn’t great- the room had a faint smell of damp or urines. The Granary at French Mill: charming cottage set in extensive garden with stream
We enjoyed the garden and were allowed to pick fresh plums, apples,tomatoes & figs. Our old dog also enjoyed the garden but I would have been more relaxed if there had been a barrier between the cottage and the busy main road.
