Compass Cottage in Historic Glen Rose

  • Compass Cottage is your perfect getaway spot. Built in the late 1800s, the cottage has retained it’s architectural style as a “breezeway house” with two front doors and many original touches. Centrally located to Glen Rose’s historic downtown, it is within a short walk to restaurants, parks, museums, and shopping. The cottage is filled with charm and equipped to make your weekend vacation or extended stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

    The cottage has 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, a dining room that seats 8, a bathroom with a clawfoot tub and shower, a washer/dryer (detergent provided), a front porch for relaxing and watching the passing traffic, and a partially fenced backyard for enjoying time outdoors.

    The cottage is on Barnard Street, the main road to downtown. A sidewalk takes you directly to the main square where the restaurants and shopping are located.

    The cottage is professionally cleaned after each guest.
